The Original COMPOSITION REPAIR KIT with Craze Control & Care Repair! **Please read the full description for important details: The Original COMPOSITION REPAIR KIT with Craze Control & Care Repair! Does your composition doll need a little TLC? Erase crazing, fill in large cracks, rebuild fingers and toes, AND seal the finish to prevent future crazing with our all-inclusive composition repair kit. We copyrighted the names “Craze Control” and “Care Repair” back in 1982 when we first began selling our composition repair kits! The copyrighted formula was created by a professional chemist. Over 22,000 kits later, we still believe this is the best product on the market and it's absolutely affordable! Each kit includes: CRAZE CONTROL A liquid flesh-toned compound that is “rubbed” onto the composition and then removed with a clean cloth. Once “buffed” the composition finish now appears dramatically less crazed (in many cases the compo appears like new), clean, and lustrous. The neutral flesh tone used in Craze Control is compatible with 99% of all composition dolls–because of the way this product works, an exact color match is absolutely not necessary. However, if your doll has an unusually whitish skin tone or is very dark in color, Craze Control can easily be tinted with a touch of oil paint in the appropriate color. CARE REPAIR A neutral beige-toned “clay” that can be used to fill in large cracks and rebuild fingers and toes. The “clay” can be manipulated easily to sculpt new fingers or toes. And, because it can be thinned with water, CARE REPAIR can also be diluted to near-liquid consistency and “dribbled” carefully into small cracks and left to dry, requiring only a small amount of sanding to complete the project. Each Composition Repair Kit in includes enough CRAZE CONTROL and CARE-REPAIR to repair minor crazing and do simple reconstructions on 5-6 medium-sized composition dolls. Kits come with complete instructions. Our product is packaged in specially made medical grade airtight bottles that signficantly improve shelf life– at least 60-90 days. Both items come in 2oz containers. Containers may vary depending on available stock. SATISFACTION GUARANTEED! CRAZE CONTROL works best on dolls with minor crazing. Results vary from doll to doll, but in most cases minor crazing is either significantly improved or virtually eliminated with just one application of Craze Control. Dolls with moderate to serious crazing will usually show substantial improvement, but may still exhibit some signs of crazing. This product is NOT recommended for composition dolls that have water damage, nor is it recommended for dolls that have flaking or peeling. *Please note: Craze Control and Care Repair are intended for antique and vintage composition dolls only (made prior to the 1950s).
